This Midsumma, join multi-award-winning rock cabaret artist Geraldine Quinn (Spicks & Specks, The Weekly) and long-term Dolly Diamond enabler Cameron Thomas for a smooth hour of “shame songs”: the soaring, slightly embarrassing songs you belt in the shower or at a karaoke bar after a pint of Tequila. Oh, you know the words...
From the creator of the sold-out romp Sunglasses at Night: The 80s Apocalypse Sing Along Cabaret, Quinn once again enlists the mighty musical forces of Thomas, fueled by their mutual affection for a soaring melody, a hyperbolic lyric and displaying their extremely high threshold for embarrassment.
In 2014/2015, the original incarnation of All Out of Pride SOLD OUT in Melbourne Fringe and Perth’s FRINGE WORLD, and earned Quinn the 2014 Green Room Award for Best Cabaret Artiste. Now, she has folded Cameron Thomas into this sweet nougat of musical excess. All Out of Pride returns, reborn and renewed for the 2020s, a loving celebration of the pomp and hilarity of the camp-as-tits genre of torch songs, bold anthems and hyperbolic duets (delivered with genuine affection) from two musicians at the top of their game. Turn on that wind machine, purse those lips, and let the chiffon fly!
Hey. We’ve got nothing to be guilty of.
