Because of the current COVID-19 pandemic, all live performance has evaporated, and we don’t know how long that will last. It’s terrifying, particularly for artists with no fall back, who rely on live performance or writing for performance. Basically we’re all sh*tting ourselves that we’ll never work again, a whole industry and all the connected business and jobs gone in a puff of smoke.

Well…I don’t have a positive spin to put on this, it’s grim. So please - if you can pay someone for a single or a CD or a bit of merch, or to write something for you, or even just stream their songs for free on Spotify so that artist can get a few cents in royalties - and when we kick this virus in the arse, come out and see us perform. Scientists are working fast.

Pandemics happen. They just don’t happen very often. We can’t do anything about it but hope, wash our hands, stay at home, isolate, and buy supplies sensibly so no one gets left behind, then massively reform our political and economic system so this loo paper bollocks doesn’t happen again.
